Alge Start Flash

The Alge Start Flash is an electronic start aid, which provides a visual indication as to the start of a race for athletes who are hard of hearing.

The start FLASH is triggered via an external impulse device (e.g. start gun or push button). If it receives a second pulse within 5 seconds it will flash an additional five times to signal a false start.

The start FLASH has 8x high brightness LED’s (Light Emitting Diode) which help ensure it can be seen clearly, even in direct sunlight. The unit is powered via 4x internal AA-batteries or direct from a timing device with low power.
