The triple photocell RLS3c consists of three photocells which are integrated within one casing on top of each other.
There are two different modes of operation: photocell area and single photocell use. In photocell area mode the photocell only produces an impulse if all three photocells are triggered at the same time. This provides a more accurate finish time. In single photocell mode, the three photocells work as independent units. This means that the first one to be trigged with provide a timing impulse.
