The Mylaps Motorsport Detection Loop connects directly to the coax cable with connection box and emits a signal to activate the motorsport transponders as they pass. Once activated the loop acts as the system antenna, receiving all of the transponder transmissions. The detection loop is generally embedded at the finish line and all other timing points around the course.
