    The Alge PR1a Photocell is a battery powered device which is used to provide a start, split or finish pulse from a moving object as it passes through the infrared beam.  The opposite reflector can be positioned up to 25m away from the photocell. There are two different modes of operation: photocell area and single photocell use. In single photocell mode, the three photocells work as independent units. This means that the first one to be trigged with provide a timing impulse.

    The Alge D-Line Clock is a very versatile numeric LED display board. It can be used as a standalone unit to display the time of day, a countdown timer, or count up, which is handy for running events.  The display can also be controlled directly via Alge timing devices, or from other third party software applications using the RS232 interface. Using additional accessories the time of day can be set by GPS or DCF, and with the addition of a sensor the temperature can be displayed.

  • Alge Start Flash - Rear Alge Start Flash - Front
    The Alge Start Flash is an electronic start aid, which provides a visual indication as to the start of a race for athletes who are hard of hearing. The start FLASH is triggered via an external impulse device (e.g. start gun or push button). If it receives a second pulse within 5 seconds it will flash an additional five times to signal a false start. The start FLASH has 8x high brightness LED's (Light Emitting Diode) which help ensure it can be seen clearly, even in direct sunlight. The unit is powered via 4x internal AA-batteries or direct from a timing device with low power.
